Color Dreamers going International to Nelson BC, Canada for first Mural Festival!

May 08, 2018

Nelson International Mural Festival begins August 17-19, 2018

Absolutely thrilled to be invited to create art with my public art mural team The Color Dreamers for Nelson Canada!

Through the festival, Nelson District Arts Council a.k.a NDAC seeks to increase the cultural vibrancy of Nelson by engaging local, national and international street artists, muralists, creators and arts lovers through large scale public artworks and educational opportunities. NDAC desires to shine a light on local cultures and histories, encouraging collaboration and community building. The festival is an inclusive event intended for all cultures, genders, ages and abilities. All festival events will take place in public spaces and will be offered free of charge.

WYNWOOD MIAMI FINE ART

Headdress art created by Latin American artist Ivette Cabrera focuses on empowering women from different cultural backgrounds through her elaborate and detailed fine art drawings.  "I want women to question their own identity so the headdress art is abstract, showing that every woman wears a crown." Her works have been showcased in art museums such as The Baker Museum & Yellowstone Art Museum along with many local Wynwood galleries. Limited Edition Prints are available though the online shop.
